CP+2025

Sony will exhibit at CP+2025, the world premiere show for cameras and photography, to be held at Pacifico Yokohama from Thursday, February 27 to Sunday, March 2, 2025. *1
The venue will offer a wide range of photography experiences to meet a variety of needs using cameras such as the flagship digital single-lens camera model “α1 II” and VLOGCAM, as well as a wide range of lenses. There will also be a photography corner where visitors can experience full-speed flash synchronization with the global shutter of the “α9 III.”
Furthermore, at the G Master “Lens Interchangeable Photography Experience Corner,” visitors can choose their favorite G Master lens and attach it to their α series camera to shoot. Also, a demo of the latest version of the service provided by Sony’s “Creators’ Cloud,” which supports video creators from shooting to the entire production process, will be available to watch.

At the venue, you can take still images and videos using Sony’s various imaging products and lenses, including G Master. There are a variety of subjects, including sports scenes such as taekwondo, kendo, and tricking, as well as portraits.

Environmental and accessibility considerations
Sony is promoting the use of recycled plastic “SORPLAS” and paper material “Original Blend Material.” This promotion comes with the aim of reducing the amount of virgin plastic used in its products. The company also exhibited imaging products equipped with accessibility-conscious functions such as a “text-to-speech” function that reads out the menu and video playback screen aloud and assists operation, and a zoomed display function” for menus. Furthermore, the clothing worn by staff in the booth is made of “Triporous,” a material made from rice husks, of which more than 10,000 tons are produced annually around the world.

Alpha Plaza Special Event
At the “α Plaza” in five Sony stores in Japan nationwide, special lectures will be held at each location in sequence by the lecturers of the workshops and α Academy special lectures held at CP+2025. In addition, α Plaza will hold “CP+2025”-linked events exclusive to the store, such as special exhibitions in the gallery corner.
