NAB2025 Booth Review
At the Libec booth at NAB 2025, the company displayed for the first time overseas the motorized pedestal for PTZ cameras, the “LX-ePed 2,” the higher-end motorized pedestal for PTZ cameras, “LX-ePed PRO,” and the quick-lock tripod “QL40B,” all of which were announced at Inter BEE 2024.

The LX-ePed 2 and LX-ePed PRO attracted particular attention, with interest in their electric lift function. The LX-ePed PRO can withstand a load of 30kg, three times that of the LX-ePed 2. This makes it possible to combine a PTZ camera with a teleprompter, or to simultaneously mount multiple PTZ cameras.
In addition, the company offers the multi-protocol converter “MPC-1” as an option. By using this converter, it is possible to operate the camera from a PTZ camera controller from a different camera manufacturer. Specifically, it is possible to control the electric lift and camera using a joystick.
In addition, the foot pedal remote control “FPR-2” is also available for the LX-ePed 2, LX-ePed 2 Studio, and LX-ePed PRO. This allows you to control the camera not only from your hand, but also from your foot, making it suitable for a variety of shooting situations.
