Insta360 announced they released a new smartphone gimbal, the Insta360 Flow 2 (hereinafter referred to as Flow 2). Two available kits were announced:
- Regular Edition
- AI Tracker Kit
This model was created after several years of development and refinement, and while it retains the ease of use of the previous Flow series, it has an optimized balance of price and functionality to make it accessible to a wider range of people.
A true all-in-one gimbal
The new Insta360 Flow 2 is an all-in-one gimbal packed with Insta360 technology, including 3-axis image stabilization, NFC one-tap shooting, a sturdy selfie stick and tripod, AI-powered Deep Track 4.0, multi-person tracking, active zoom tracking, and a long battery life of up to 10 hours.
You can smoothly record any scene, from everyday life with your children, group vlogging, video calls, and memories from solo travels.

“With Flow 2, we’ve taken all the experience and knowledge we’ve gained so far and made smartphone photography enjoyable for more people,” Jingkang Liu, founder of Insta360, said. “It’s a powerful and easy-to-use tool that allows everyone to capture the moments they want to share.”
The Flow 2 folds up for easy portability, fits neatly in your bag or pocket, and is truly an all-in-one gimbal with a selfie stick, sturdy metal tripod, and up to 10 hours of battery life (plus smartphone charging).

In addition, compatible smartphones support NFC one-tap shooting. Eliminate the hassle of Bluetooth connection and instantly access the shooting screen of the Insta360 app by simply holding your smartphone over the gimbal. For Android users, a quick launch function is also available that launches the standard camera on your smartphone just by opening the gimbal.
Smarter and smoother
At the heart of Flow 2 is Insta360’s most advanced AI tracking technology, Deep Track 4.0. It maintains recognition even if the subject is temporarily hidden by an obstacle, and can track multiple people at the same time. It’s also perfect for recording vlogs with friends or group dance performances.

In addition, the “Pro Framing Grid” function automatically suggests nine different composition angles using Insta360’s unique golden ratio. Simply tap the subject and it will automatically adjust to the optimal composition.
It also supports remote control from Apple Watch or a second smartphone, so you can take group photos and videos of the whole family without relying on others.
“The Flow 2 is a very attractive addition to our gimbal lineup,” Max Richter, co-founder and head of global marketing at Insta360, said. “There is no other gimbal that offers so many features at such an affordable price. It’s the perfect gimbal for everyday use.”
New tools that provide powerful support for Vlogs have also been released
To make vlogging even easier, the new Insta360 Mic Air will also be available, which allows hands-free, high-quality audio recording, allowing you to record clear audio in any situation, whether you’re walking, cooking, or introducing a product.

In addition, the teleprompter function built into the Insta360 app allows you to talk naturally while reading from a script even during cooking broadcasts or review videos. All you have to do is load the script and display it while shooting with your smartphone camera.
In addition, the AI tracker function enables subject tracking in third-party apps, providing a wider range of shooting experiences, especially for Android users.
It also comes with a built-in spotlight for peace of mind even at night, and an AI editing suite that automatically adjusts footage after shooting. With just this one device, you can complete everything from shooting to editing smoothly.
