FeiyuTech has unveiled the SCORP 2, the world’s first gimbal for SLR/mirrorless cameras with a built-in tracking module. The lineup and suggested retail prices are as follows.

The SCORP 2 is a gimbal for SLR and mirrorless cameras with a maximum payload of 2.5kg. Equipped with the world’s first AI tracking module as standard, the ability to take photos by one person has been greatly enhanced. This is done by creating gestures to track the subject and start shooting without pressing any buttons.
FeiyuTech also developed a new quick release plate that makes it extremely easy to set up for vertical video shooting. This gimbal can shoot for social media in no time.
The sling handle is also included as standard compared to the SCORP 1, making it suitable for low-position/low-angle photography. The double handle design allows for stable shooting even during normal shooting.

Built-in world’s first AI tracking module
Built-in AI tracking module allows you to use gestures to start/stop tracking, shutter, start/stop shooting, custom framing, etc. Shoot higher quality images easily with a mirrorless camera or single-lens reflex camera.
As a fixed point camera, users can take pictures without a photographer. When used in conjunction with an extension rod, the shooting position can be raised, allowing users to take pictures with a natural angle of view that looks like a photographer’s shot.
Revolutionary design
The integrated sling handle provides stability. Covers from low position to high position, allowing flexible operation from any angle. With the foldable aileron bracket, the gimbal can be stood up by itself, anywhere without the need for a tripod.

The 1.3-inch touch screen allows detailed professional settings such as motor output, follow mode/speed, joystick settings, F value, ISO, shutter speed, and magic wheel settings.
Camera shake/shock absorption
Equipped with the latest W9 generation 4-element image stabilization algorithm from the SCORP series. It controls shaking and shock, allowing users to shoot extremely smooth images.
Magic wheel
The Magic Wheel can be configured to operate various functions.
- Accurately control 3 axes: The rotation of the wheel and the motor move in conjunction. All axes can be operated and moved automatically to create a smooth finished image
- Intuitive control of focus: The focus motor can be operated freely using the wheel. Adjust the focus while taking stable pictures at hand
- Customize wheel operation: Focus adjustment and gimbal operation are very delicate, but change the weight of the wheel rotation to create the best shooting environment
Flash mode
Flash mode allows quick capture of sudden movements of the subject or shots taken in unexpected directions. 3 axes move at the fastest speed according to hand movements. It also suppresses camera shake and shock while ensuring that the subject is not missed.
