ARRI announced the ARTEMIS 2 Live, a compact and lightweight camera stabilizer optimized for live production such as sports and event coverage.
ARTEMIS 2 Live is the new ARRI entry point into the Camera Stabilization System (CSS) series. It is modular, lightweight, and upgradeable, allowing users to adapt their rig to different production demands and careers while maintaining the quality and reliability of ARRI engineering.
ARTEMIS 2 Live boasts a minimalist design that is focused on operational flexibility and ergonomics. The short posts give users more legroom, allowing them to keep up with the fast and unpredictable action of live production, even in tight spaces. The new lightweight monitor bracket is specially designed for live use. The base mount and monitor jockey support 7-inch monitors such as TRANSVV. The other bracket supports 5-inch “on-air” monitors, which are often used in live production rigs.
ARRI offers a number of Ready to Shoot sets for ARTEMIS 2 Live. These provide everything you need to integrate the stabilizer into a live production environment, including the option to easily and effectively pair ARTEMIS 2 Live with a Tiffen Volt gimbal.

The ARTEMIS 2 Live’s modular system structure allows it to be compatible with a variety of power sources, making it easy to match it to the batteries available on location and the cameras used in the rig.
ARRI ARTEMIS 2 Live reflects ARRI’s commitment to the live production sector, as demonstrated by the release of the ALEXA 35 Live – Multicam system in early 2024. ARRI makes no qualitative distinction between live and cinema, and as such, ARTEMIS 2 Live components are compatible with ARRI’s cine-style stabilizers and embody the same quality standards.
For EFP workflow needs, functions such as TALLY and LBUS enable hybrid lens control of ENG zoom lenses and Cine zoom lenses.
Users can upgrade ARTEMIS 2 Live to the fully equipped ARTEMIS 2 for film and drama production. In addition, brackets and accessories are compatible with all CSS products.
If you own both the ARTEMIS 2 and TRINITY 2, you can scale down your rig to a live configuration with the ARTEMIS 2 Live conversion kit, as the brackets and accessories for the ARTEMIS 2 and TRINITY 2 are compatible.
