Cine Gear Expo will be held June 7-9, 2024 at the Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California. This year’s Cine Gear Expo will feature a variety of technology previews, film screenings, educational panels, guild and association presentations, filmmaker talks, and socializing under the California sun.
The Film Competition Screening, held on June 7th at Warner Bros.’ iconic Stephen J. Ross Theater, will feature student and professional submissions in the Independent Short Film, Student Film and Music Video/Commercial categories.
On June 7th and 8th there will be educational panels featuring RED, Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, Panasonic LUMIX, AbelCinema and the American Film Institute.

Visitors can explore four stages featuring more than 270 booths across the iconic Warner Bros. Midwest, French Street and New York Street, as well as indoor exhibits packed with the latest technology from top vendors.
On June 7th at 6:30pm local time, Cine Gear Expo will host a special feature screening of “Furiosa: The Mad Max Saga” at the Stephen J. Ross Theater. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cine Gear’s VIP reception and awards ceremony will take place on June 7th at 7:15pm local time. This annual invitation-only event will present a number of honors, including:

Cine Gear Expo Masterclass
This year’s Masterclass “Lens Flare for Creative Use” will be taught by Markus Förderer ASC, BVK (Red Notice, Origin, Independence Day Resurgence, Constellation) and will take place on June 9th from 13:00-15:00 local time. During this hands-on live demo at the nearby Creamsource, Förderer will share his unique lighting and camera techniques for visual storytelling.
