CP+2025
The Camera and Imaging Products Association (CIPA) announced the CP+ 2025 world premiere show for cameras and video production. The event will be held in a hybrid format of an on-site event at Pacifico Yokohama and as an online event. CP+ 2025 will run for four days from Thursday, February 27, 2025 to Sunday, March 2, 2025, and admission is free (pre-registration required).
“CP+” is the world’s largest camera and imaging equipment show, where imaging-related companies such as cameras and lenses introduce their latest models and services. It attracts a wide range of visitors, from creators and professional photographers, to young people looking for photogenic photos, families interested in photography and video, and seniors looking to perfect their hobbies. In recent years, it has also attracted attention from overseas. In 2024, 88 companies and organizations exhibited, the highest level ever, and about 50,000 people visited the show (30% increase from the previous year). More than 330,000 people visited the official website (number of unique users), and various projects were developed, making it popular.
CP+ 2025 Exhibitions
In light of the recent trends in social media and the popularity of cameras, which are showing signs of a global revival in the age of smartphones, CP+2025 will have a variety of events that can be enjoyed not only by creators and professional photographers, but also by those who are interested but feel that it is too difficult to get started, and beginners who want to make their social media debut. With the keywords of “take,” “view,” and “connect,” the event is said to be full of information and discoveries that will help you “find what you want” and “use it from tomorrow,” including product exhibits, work exhibits, seminars, and workshops. All of these will give you trend techniques and inspiration that suit you.
As a special project, there will also be a “Cat Photo Exhibition @ CP+2025” photo exhibition directed by photographer Toshimitsu Hoshino, showcasing the cute and amazing charms of cats.
“CREATORS EDGE Spring Edition”, an event for creators hosted by Genkosha, will be held at the CP+ venue.
In addition, there will be an exhibition of works from the Photo Koshien Finals and an exhibition of winning works from the ZOOMS JAPAN Photo Contest. For the SNS generation, there will be a “LIVE Streaming Studio supported by PRONEWS ” that will broadcast daily during the event, and a “Circle Exhibition Area” where you can enjoy exhibitions and interactions by university clubs. In response to the positive reception of last year, the “Plarail Diorama Exhibition” will be held again this year.
In addition, there will be experiential workshops that anyone can enjoy and learn from. There will also be content reflecting SNS trends and events for families with children. Following on from last year, there will also be exhibits from photo and art book publishers and galleries, and presentation stages by photographers and photo critics, providing an experience that will make a wide range of people fall in love with “photos and videos.”

ZOOMS JAPAN
This year, the photo contest “ZOOMS JAPAN” to discover up-and-coming photographers will be held again. The contest will display the best works of photographers aiming to go overseas. In cooperation with Salon de la Photo from France, CP+ will also exhibit the winning works of France’s Les Zooms at the CP+ venue, and will invite the winners to Japan, in an effort to promote cultural exchange between Japan and France. Details of the contest will be announced as soon as they are decided.
Japanese University Exhibition Area
This year, photo and video clubs and circles from universities across the country will gather again. Through the exhibition of works overflowing with young sensibilities and the introduction of activities, it is said that new interactions with a wide range of generations will be born, such as exchanging opinions and receiving advice on works.
