Magewell at exhibiting at IBC2026 plans to be showcasing their recently released production and presentation solution, Director Plus, as well as the new Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K standalone model for IP decoding and the Modator module. At booth 7.A30, a team of experts will provide live demonstrations of the full range of Magewell products to help solve AV-related challenges.

New product: Director Plus
Making its debut at the Magewell at IBC2026 booth, and already shipping worldwide, the Director Plus brings 4K production capabilities and enhanced networking features to Magewell’s Director family of portable, all-in-one production and presentation systems.
This new model can flexibly incorporate media assets from connected devices and third-party software platforms, in addition to up to six 4Kp60 sources or sixteen 1080p60 sources from HDMI, USB, and IP feeds.
By combining powerful streaming capabilities with flexible source integration, Director Plus enables creators and production teams in fields such as sports, places of worship, healthcare, enterprise, education, and podcasts to build hybrid or all-IP workflows.
Furthermore, Director Plus features enhanced ISO recording capabilities compared to previous Director models, supporting simultaneous recording of up to four channels from any input or program feed. This enhancement, implemented in response to user requests, improves flexibility in live production and presentations, while also providing valuable footage for post-production.
New Product: Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K (Standalone and Modifier versions)
Also making their debut at IBC2026 are two new products added to Magewell’s Pro Convert IP decoder family, offering the company’s first IP-to-12G-SDI decoding solution.
The currently shipping “Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K” is a standalone version that decodes common IP streams up to 4Kp60 and can simultaneously output HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI in full-screen or multi-view layouts. It also supports HDR10 and HLG.
The “Pro Convert IP to AIO 4K Module,” the ninth module in Magewell’s expanding Modator lineup, is scheduled to ship in October 2026 and will bring IP-to-12G-SDI decoding capabilities to centrally managed rack deployments.
Designed for use with the Magewell Modator 2U chassis, this module offers the same core decoding capabilities as the standalone version while enabling space savings through higher-density installations. When used in conjunction with the enhanced Control Hub management software interface introduced earlier this year, new preview features allow for easy video monitoring via the Web UI or Control Hub.
