Inter BEE 2023 Announced!

The Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association announced that it will hold the 2023 edition of Inter BEE, a comprehensive media event, at the Makuhari Messe and online venues again for this year. The in-person exhibition will be held from November 15th (Wednesday) to 17th (Friday), 2023 at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba, and from November 6th (Monday) to December 15th (Friday) at the online venue. Applications will be accepted from 10:00 on March 1 (Wednesday), with the primary application deadline being May 31 (Wednesday) and the secondary application deadline being June 30 (Friday).

Inter BEE is Japan’s largest comprehensive media event, where media and entertainment professionals from various fields gather. Starting in 2023, the name of some divisions will be renewed, with a total of four areas: “Professional Audio Division”, “Video Production/Broadcast Equipment Division”, “Video Expression/Professional Lighting Division”, and “ICT/Cross Media Division.” We are planning to configure the exhibition area with JEITA.

Theme-specific special projects will also be greatly reorganized, and the conventional INTER BEE CONNECTED will be renamed to “INTER BEE BORDERLESS,” with the theme of further evolution and business beyond the convergence of broadcasting and telecommunications. Also, at INTER BEE CREATIVE, there will be set up an exhibition area for the expanding video marketing market, and developed it as a place to welcome visitors from the advertising industry such as advertising agencies and advertisers. At INTER BEE IGNITION×DCEXPO, a start-up area will be set up to appeal as a point of contact between advanced content production-related technology and business. The INTER BEE IP PAVILION will continue this year as well, with the aim of creating a system-sharing experience that transcends the boundaries of broadcasting stations.
