DCEXPO Program: TechBiz Pitch Battle
The Technology Business Acceleration Program, known in Japan as TechBiz, is a project that aims for overseas collaboration and business with content technologies. Each year, TechBiz hosts a full-scale Pitch Battle, which fosters collaboration with venture capital and other investment sources with entrepreneurs.
This pitch battle is hosted at InterBEE, a well-known comprehensive media convention, in their DCEXPO entrepreneurial section. InterBEE 2023 will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba from November 15th through November 18th. TechBiz will hold the pitch battle during the in-person event, but details about the various technologies can be found in the linked video above, as well.
This year, eight technologies were selected from numerous candidates. Entrepreneurs will present their technologies to various commentators such as VCs, curators and other experts from Japan and abroad. They will in turn receive advice, opinions and comments on what is necessary for overseas collaboration and business. The candidates will also have the opportunity to foster possible match-ups with VC and other partners.
