Imagenics Co., Ltd. will release a new matrix switcher product “UHX-1616” in January 2023. The suggested retail price is 1,320,000 yen including tax.
The UHX-1616 is a 16-input 16-output matrix switcher that supports 4K60p 4:4:4 full-spec signals. The number of inputs and outputs can be adjusted in units of 4 systems. It supports HDCP, so the user can watch copyright-protected content.
It supports deep color up to 36 bits and 4K HDR, and also has a color conversion function from YCbCr to RGB. You can also convert 4:4:4 samples to 4:2:0 samples and 4:2:0 samples to 4:4:4 samples. In addition, it is possible to build a highly flexible video system with functions such as down-converting 4K content to full HD and external control via LAN/RS-232C.
A color liquid crystal display is used on the front panel to display crosspoint information and various operation and setting menus intuitively and easily. Crosspoints can also be easily switched.
