DZOFILM unveiled their new “PAVO” anamorphic lens and the prototype of the “18-90mm T2.8 Tango” Super 35 compatible zoom lens for the first time at the company’s booth.
“PAVO 2x” anamorphic prime lens
The “PAVO 2x” anamorphic prime lens is designed for 35mm full-frame cameras and has a squeeze factor of 2x. The focal length will start at 28mm, and in the future, the lineup will include focal lengths of 32mm, 40mm, 55mm, 75mm, and 100mm, all with a maximum aperture of T2.1.
“18-90mm T2.8 Tango” Super 35 compatible zoom lens
“18-90mm T2.8 Tango” is a zoom lens compatible with Super 35. With a focal length of 18-90mm and a T-value of T2.8, it is designed for film, documentary and broadcast applications. A cine servo option will also be offered. The 18-90mm model was unveiled for the first time at NAB, but the 65mm-280mm model is scheduled to be announced in June this year. The Tango series will be developed in two models.
