5.9K, 4.1K, 3.5K 12bit video RAW data can be output via HDMI to Atomos NINJA V+/NINJA V/SHOGUN CONNECT and Blackmagic Design recorder Blackmagic Video Assist 12G HDR.
You can record Apple ProRes RAW (ATOMOS recorder) and Blackmagic RAW (Blackmagic Design recorder), which are useful for post-production editing and grading. It is said that it will strengthen the ability to respond to post-production and strongly support the workflow of video production.
Supports view assist when outputting video RAW data
You can check the image on the DC-S5M2/S5M2X monitor or viewfinder while the video RAW data is being output. In addition to checking the video equivalent to V-Log shooting, by using the “V-Log view assist” function, you can check the video with the “LUT view assist (monitor)” function that applies to presets.
Added S5II still image function
live view composite
DC-S5M2 firmware Ver.2.0 adds Live View Composite, which captures images for each set exposure time, synthesizes the parts that have changed in brightness, and records them as a single photo. Since the composited image is displayed each time the exposure time elapses, you can shoot while checking the finish.
Since the overall brightness can be suppressed when shooting, it is convenient for shooting star trails and fireworks with a time difference against a bright nightscape as a single photo.
