Sony has released the recording format chart of the large sensor camera “VENICE 2” which is able to be downloaded from the company website .
This chart shows aspect ratios, image circles, frame rates, resolutions and dimensions for VENICE 2’s 11 different recording formats for Full Frame and Super 35. It showcases how each format contributes to the demands of filmmaking.
The X-OCN codec maintains the dynamic range and color fidelity of the original sensor data while providing superior image quality in a manageable file size, enabling compressed formats and streamlined workflows in the Mac production environment. It is said that it is possible to work with ProRes codecs. This chart proves that VENICE 2 can meet the needs of any filmmaker.
