Fujifilm has announced the release of the Fujifilm X-S20 mirrorless camera. This camera contains Fujifilm’s “X-Trans CMOS 4” sensor and boasting a 26.1 MP resolution, along with the X-Processor 5 advanced processor.
The X-Processor 5 contains deep-learning AI technology, allowing for better tracking and facial recognition of subjects, aiding in autofocus and stabilization.
With capabilities to record at 6.2K Open Gate at 30 frames per second, this camera can record stunning cinema-quality shots. At 40K/60P, this camera positions itself as a perfect camera for social media users.
Related to that, this camera has a unique Vlog mode. Similar to the trend of mirrorless cameras being released toward social media influencers and vloggers, this camera is Fujifilm’s own entry into that category. Target audiences indeed are content creators and vloggers. With the latest battery support features from Fujifilm, this camera can last.
There are a few limitations that the more prosumer users would notice, notably that there is only one Single SD card port, as well as a speed-restricting Micro HDMI port.
Overall this camera adds to Fujifilm a dynamic and unique entry that Fujifilm users have expressed great interest.
