The Kandao VR Cam will be released by Kandao from late August 2023. This will be available for companies or corporations and production houses. This camera is a virtual reality live camera that uses two Micro Four Thirds sensors in a fanless aluminum alloy body. Using Kandao Stream software, this camera is capable of real-time 8K3D at 30FPS VR180 livestreaming.
Kandao VR Cam’s interpupillary distance (PD) is designed at 65mm to match the parallax of the human eye. This creates a natural three-dimensional effect. The camera also supports RTMP/RTMPS/SRT distribution protocols, and H.265 encoding enables efficient VR live distribution and VR recording of 8K video.
