CIS Co., Ltd. has begun accepting orders for the “VCC-8K1” 8K camera series, which uses a Super 35mm global shutter type CMOS image sensor.
The “VCC-8K1” series is the first CIS built 8K camera that uses Onsemi’s “XGS45000” Super 35mm size CMOS sensor. 8K60p high-speed image transmission is possible with 12G-SDI x 4ch output, and the camera’s original “Clairvu” camera signal processing algorithm is used to faithfully express the colors of the subject.
In addition, it supports color correction, BT.2100 (HLG) compliant gamma curve, BT.709/BT2020 compatibility, NR, LTC, GenLock, OSD, and low-latency image transmission, etc., for various broadcasting and shooting applications. It is equipped with functions suitable for various uses such as sports relay system, remote control, endoscope, surgical field camera, surveillance, and in-vehicle installation.
There are two types of this model: EF mount type and PL mount type, allowing consumers to choose depending on the lens they use.
