Sony TOUGH G High Speed Series of CFExpress Cards Unveiled

Sony announced on March 20th the unveiling of two new high-capacity, high-speed G Series CFExpress Type B Memory Cards: CEB-G240T and CEB-G480T. The Sony TOUGH CFexpress cards are designed for professional photographers, videographers and enthusiasts looking to boost workflows with unrivaled speed and exceptional reliability.

Sony TOUGH G Series – Built for Speed

The Sony 240GB CFexpress Type B TOUGH Memory Card has speeds of up to 1600 MB/s (write) and 1850 MB/s (read), and is suitable for all formats of media. Meanwhile, the higher-capacity 480GB CFExpress Card has speeds of up to 1750 MB/s (write) and 1850 MB/s (read), for all capacity of media.

These cards are ideal for uncompressed continuous RAW shooting of fast-moving action such as motorsports and wildlife. In addition, the memory cards are ready to support the future evolutions of high-end cameras and camcorders.
