ZHIYUN announced the release of the compact and high-output bicolor COB studio light in the MOLUS B series, the MOLUS B100/B200/B300/B500. The lights are due to be available on June 14, 2024. The suggested retail price is to be determined for all products. The approximate market price is as follows:
- MOLUS B100: $304USD/47,800 yen (tax included)
- MOLUS B200: $355USD/55,800 yen (tax included)
- MOLUS B300: $460USD/72,800 yen (tax included)
- MOLUS B500: $765USD/120,000 yen (tax included)
The Zhiyun MOLUS B series has a built-in power box for the AC adapter, making it easy to carry and set up. There is no need to install a power box on the floor or on a stand, making it easy to set up your shooting environment.
In addition, ZHIYUN’s proprietary DynaVort cooling system allows for precise fan control, and the fan operates according to the temperature of the main unit, making it quieter and significantly reducing the size of the main unit.

Built-in AC adapter
All models of the “ZHIYUN MOLUS B Series” have built-in AC adapters. Since the adapter is not exposed, only the cable is around the light, making it possible to neatly organize wiring in studios, etc. When carrying the light, you only need to move the cable and the main unit, making it easy to reconfigure.
DynaVort Cooling System
ZHIYUN’s unique DynaVort cooling system significantly improves cooling efficiency. In addition, the cooling system itself is compact and highly efficient, allowing the main unit to be made smaller.
Dimming and color adjustment with just a dial
The B series allows you to adjust the brightness and color tone just by using the dial on the main unit. It also supports temporary on/off.
High color rendering performance
It boasts high color rendering performance with a CCT (color temperature) range of 2700-6500K, CRI (RA) of 95 or higher, and TLCI of 97 or higher (B300/B500).
Bowen’s Mount
The accessory mount uses a Bowens mount, allowing you to use not only ZHIYUN genuine accessories but also a variety of other accessories from other companies.
ZY Vega
If you want to operate the light from a distance, you can use the “ZY Vega” smartphone app to wirelessly turn the light on and off and adjust the brightness and color.
