SmallRig AD-50 series of tripods unveiled

SmallRig has announced the release of the AD-50 Lite aluminum alloy tripod, and carbon fiber tripods AD-50 and AD-50 Pro.

The AD-50 series of lightweight video tripod kits offers a wide lineup to meet various needs. The AD-50 Lite is made of aluminum alloy and has a head with a maximum load capacity of 5kg. On the other hand, the AD-50 is made of carbon fiber, has a stepless adjustable pan & tilt damping mechanism, and is equipped with a head with a maximum load capacity of 6kg.

The AD-50 Pro also features a movable center column and FreeSpeed technology that allows you to adjust the height with a single action, making it possible to shoot at low angles. Both the AD-50 Lite and AD-50 have a total weight of just 2.8kg, yet their sturdy legs provide stable support. Additionally, the legs have built-in tie-down straps and a 1/4”-20 threaded accessory port. The AD-50 also features a mid-spreader that can be extended or retracted to match the leg angle, improving stability.
