Nanlux has announced the NL Mount Projection Attachment 15-30° for its Evoke series LED spotlights.
This new attachment provides excellent control of zoom, focusing, cut and gobo projection with precision optics. The powerful light beam is well controlled and minimizes excess light leakage. Paired with Evoke light units, it can easily add layers, depth and accents to your backgrounds and images. Use with reflectors to further expand the range of lighting effects. These attachments are compatible with Evoke series NL mount light units, Evoke 900C/1200/1200B/2400B.
What is the Nanlux NL Mount Projection Attachment?
The NL Mount Projection Attachment 15-30° is equipped with a high-performance precision optical lens designed exclusively for the Nanlux Evoke series of light devices. It is securely attached to the device via the NL mount, and the lens’s highly efficient optical design and excellent light transmission provide approximately 7.5 times the illuminance of a standalone light.

15-30° Zoom Range: The NL Mount Projection Attachment 15-30° lens barrel can be telescopically extended to continuously adjust the beam angle from 15° to 30°. Compared to traditional fixed focus projection lenses, the zoom system can flexibly control the spread of illumination without moving the light, making it the perfect solution for diverse lighting environments.
- Zoom Ring: By rotating the zoom ring, you can adjust the focus and defocus of the light beam. While other lenses adjust the focus by pushing the lens barrel, the zoom ring design of the NL Mount Projection Attachment 15-30° provides more precise and smooth adjustment.
- 90° Rotatable Lens Barrel: The lens barrel can be rotated to adjust the beam angle, eliminating the need to move shutters or gobos, providing greater flexibility.
- Fast Setup and Stable Balance: The integrated yoke and adjustable handles on both sides provide a secure locking design for fast and stable setup of the projection attachment. The design ensures proper weight distribution and balance when mounting the device, preventing gravity-induced shifts in projection angle.
- Third-Party Lens Compatibility: The projection attachment holder is compatible with third-party barrels and lenses, expanding the range of available optics and opening up new possibilities with your existing lenses.

Nanlux has designed a precision optical system for the NL Mount Projection Attachment 15-30° to deliver excellent beam uniformity while controlling light loss, chromatic aberration and distortion to meet the demands of production environments where high-quality lighting is required.

Designed to be rugged and portable, the NL Mount Projection Attachment 15-30° body is constructed from aluminum alloy and extremely durable nylon, making it lightweight, strong and coming in at under 12kg.
The yoke’s 15° offset design allows for a larger downward angle while still maintaining stability when mounted on a light stand. It also comes with protective covers on both ends to prevent dust and scratches that could affect performance. The barrel and yoke have eyebolts for attaching safety cables, and fastening knobs limit movement during downward projection to prevent shaking.
More Light Shaping Possibilities
Each shutter can be freely adjusted independently for precise control. The 18-blade aperture creates a beautifully round beam shape. Slide the built-in rod to adjust the beam size and tighten it to lock it in place.
It includes four gobos that can be mounted on the gobo holder to project a variety of patterns, and is designed in a standard A size, making it compatible with a wide variety of pre-made gobos available on the market.
The projection attachment is designed with a gel frame that allows you to insert gel to output color in daylight or bi-color light.
High heat resistance + optimized heat dissipation
The NL Mount Projection Attachment 15-30° is made of heat-resistant materials, providing high thermal stability. The use of aluminum alloy further improves the heat resistance of the entire device. The attachment design itself allows for it to be passively cold. The aluminum alloy body ensures optimal heat conduction, and the holder’s external heat sink fins improve cooling efficiency. The passive cooling solution also improves the performance of on-set audio recording.
This design ensures stable optical performance even under high temperatures that may occur during prolonged use with high-power devices such as the Evoke 2400B.
