The APO Mini Prime is a single-focus cinema lens compatible with large format cameras. The APO, meaning apochromatic, design provides high-level correction of chromatic aberration, resulting in delicate and clear images.

Reproduces the Imaging of Vintage lenses

The V+ coating on the lens smooths out skin tones and gives the image a calm, soft atmosphere and texture. This coating also produces a special rainbow flare (Dullens Rainbow Flare), which gives the image a unique flavor and artistic effect. The flare can be suppressed by narrowing the aperture by one or two stops.

Excellent imaging performance

The APO (apochromatic) design suppresses chromatic aberration even at full aperture, realizing natural depiction. It provides soft bokeh and rich expressiveness while capturing the subject’s outline sharply. In addition, the color tone of the image is consistent across the series, reducing the time required for post-production and adjusting settings after changing lenses.

With a filter diameter of 72mm and an outer diameter of 80mm at the tip, it is compatible with many commercially available filters and matte boxes.
