LAOWA Nanomorph LF series of anamorphic lenses unveiled

The aperture can be set from T2.9 to T22 to accommodate any lighting conditions. When fully open, the shallow depth of field creates a smooth, organic bokeh in the background, providing an anamorphic effect ideal for film production. The high sharpness and contrast are compatible with the latest image sensor performance, allowing for flexible response to a variety of production needs. It is also suitable for cinematographers looking for a vintage look, and offers flexibility in post-production adjustments and filter use.

The shape and size of the subject is accurately maintained even at the edge of the frame, allowing you to shoot with any composition. Focus breathing is suppressed, and the field of view and framing are kept stable even when the focus is shifted, achieving natural and professional image expression.

Nanomorph LF lenses are extremely compact, roughly half the size and weight of other lenses of comparable performance, and offer the ideal combination of optical quality and ease of use, all while remaining affordable, making them the ideal professional lens.

Flare colors are available in three colors: Science Fiction Blue, Elegant Amber, and Natural Silver. Silver in particular has the advantage that the color of the flare changes depending on the color of the light source. The focus ring has a 270° rotation angle, allowing for precise focusing, and the back focus adjustment mechanism allows for quick fine adjustments on site.

The LAOWA Nanomorph LF comes standard with an Arri PL mount, and includes a replacement bayonet for the Canon EF mount. In addition, it can be used with mirrorless cameras such as Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z, and L mounts with optional replacement bayonets. Each bayonet comes with a shim for fine-tuning the flange back to ensure a perfect fit. Replacement bayonets are compatible with the “Nanomorph LF/60mmT2.9 for Sony E/Canon RF/Nikon Z/L Mount.”
