AI Tracking 2.0 introduces an “Only Me” mode that tracks a selected subject, while Group Tracking intelligently adjusts for framing of multiple people. With the ability to identify over 30 animal species and 200 objects, Tail 2 further pushes the boundaries of AI-powered tracking. With customizable tracking speed and customized axis tracking, Tail 2 achieves precise tracking.

OBSBOT Tail 2 captures beautiful 4K60fps and 1080P120fps videos with its 12 optical lenses and 1/1.5″ CMOS sensor. The 12x hybrid zoom ensures excellent detail even when zooming in on a subject from far away.
Full pixel PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and dual native ISO enable precise, dynamic and accurate focusing in any lighting condition. OBSBOT’s proprietary AI Image Signal Processor (ISP) improves low light performance with AI noise reduction, while the highly sensitive 2μm pixel sensor increases light capture in dark conditions.

OBSBOT introduces the world’s first 4K PTZR camera with a specially designed gimbal system that rotates the lens by 90 degrees, enabling seamless vertical 4K60fps video capture without any loss of quality. At the same time, the rotation mechanism also provides advanced stabilization and an auto-leveling system to ensure the lens always stays perfectly horizontal.

Tail 2 offers multiple connectivity options including 3G-SDI, a full size HDMI 2.0 port, Ethernet port, RS-232 (for VISCA and Pelco control) and USB 3.0 for broadcast quality signal transmission. These features allow for seamless integration into a variety of production setups.

OBSBOT Tail 2 supports a wide range of industry standard protocols, including NDI for real-time video transmission, wired and wireless multi-camera setups, and FreeD for AR/VR live production with minimal angle deviation (±0.003°), ensuring stable footage. In addition, it also supports RTMP, RTSP, VISCA, Pelco-P, Pelco-D, and SRT for greater flexibility and compatibility.
