PolarPro announced the release of the “135 Series” filter collection. Shipments are scheduled to begin in early February 2025. The PolarPro 135 Series comes in the following filter lens thread sizes: 49mm, 67mm, 77mm, and 82mm.
A fusion of nostalgic retro design and the latest glass technology
Created as a new collaboration with photographer Peter McKinnon, the 135 Series filters are designed as a homage to the analog aesthetic of film cameras, combining a retro look with the latest in glass technology to deliver a timeless look and cutting-edge performance.
Filter canister with the look and feel of a film reel
The 135 Series filters come with a dedicated canister for protecting the filter that replicates the look and feel of a classic film reel, and include front and rear covers that screw on from the front and back to provide full 360° protection for the filter.
Sunny 16 rule guide printed on the inside of the cap for adjusting exposure
The inside of the 135 Series filter cap features a Sunny 16 Rule guide printed for easy exposure adjustments, providing an on-the-go guide to capturing the perfect shot in any lighting condition.
Three filter variations
The 135 Series filter collection includes three types of filters: Chroma PL, Black Mist, and Gold Mist. Each filter is available in four sizes: 49mm, 67mm, 77mm, and 82mm.
Chroma PL
With superior color accuracy and fidelity, Chroma glass polarizing filters are a staple for photographers, and are ideal for capturing high-contrast black and white images, or for reducing reflections on cars, buildings, water surfaces, and other surfaces, giving your photos more contrast and depth of color.
Black Mist
Black Mist softens and reduces contrast by diffusing overly sharp image highlights while maintaining depth of shadow, recreating the look of Kodak Portra film.
Gold Mist
Gold Mist adds a retro feel to your photos by adding a warm glow to highlights and reducing contrast. This color is inspired by Kodak Gold film.
