Leofoto announced the release of the gear head, “G6.” This gear tripod head enables precise composition, and is scheduled to be released on Friday, August 1, 2025.
Leofoto G6 Gear Head Features
Horizontal adjustment allows for a wide range of shooting angles
The G6 is a high-precision gear head with a built-in goniometer stage that keeps the optical axis from shifting. Horizontal and vertical adjustments are possible within a range of ±25 degrees by operating the gears. The adjustment angle is wider than previous products, and it can also be used for shooting at steeper angles.
In addition, by unlocking the camera, it can be adjusted coarsely up to 65°. By combining this with gear operation, it can be tilted up to 90°, allowing for overhead and overhead shots. This allows for a wider range of expression in a variety of shooting scenes.

Geared head that combines operability and stability
The G6 is a geared head with a built-in goniometer stage, and is designed to rotate around the center of the lens when adjusting the horizontal axis, so the optical axis is less likely to shift. It also does not deviate significantly from the center axis of the tripod, reducing the risk of the tripod itself tipping over due to wind, etc.

New gear head structure
By upgrading the construction of the internal gear parts, even more precise and smoother movement is achieved.

Equipped with a larger dial and two spirit levels
The two spirit levels on the side make it easy to check the horizontal level even when shooting from a high angle. Since the vertical and horizontal axes can be checked separately, it is possible to determine the composition with high precision. The operation dial for adjusting the horizontal level is also larger than the previous product. The improved operability makes it easier and faster to take accurate shots.

360° rotation axis control possible
In addition to being able to adjust the vertical and horizontal axes with gears, the rotation axis can also be smoothly adjusted by unlocking it, allowing for independent control of rotation in three directions. *The rotation axis does not have a gear adjustment function.
