Wooden Camera announced the release of a new accessory collection for the Sony VENICE Extension System Mini. The collection includes cage extensions, rear plates for extension mounts and power cables, and a slim cage that maintains the VENICE Extension System Mini’s compact design.
“The unique size of the VENICE Extension System Mini created some interesting design challenges,” Dominic Aiello, Senior Director of Accessories at Creative Solutions, commented. “We needed to design a sturdy base for our accessories while maintaining a compact size that could be used in tight shooting environments. By adapting existing designs and optimizing them for this camera, we created a system that is both functional and flexible.”
The Wooden Camera Accessories for the VENICE Extension System Mini include:
- Cage: Adds mounting points around the perimeter and includes two angled mounts. Two-piece design allows users to remove the bottom section to keep the optical height low.
- Cage Extension: Available as a top cheese plate or top dual rod clamp. Both options avoid the filter slot and expand accessory compatibility
- Rear Cheese Plate: Mounts the VENICE Extension System power strip in multiple positions and includes an extension for attaching a micro battery plate
- PL Support: Interchangeable lens support that matches the optical height of the PL adapter. Compatible with ARCA baseplates and can be used independently of the cage.
