Bron Elektronik AG, known as broncolor, announced the release of the new Stelos 800L monoblock strobe. Shipments are scheduled for late October to early November 2025.
The Stelos 800L is a new monoblock strobe that combines top performance with exceptional convenience. Its high-speed flash and precise color reproduction open up new creative possibilities. Its robust design makes it durable enough to withstand heavy use on location, yet its lightweight, portable design makes it easy to take anywhere.
With a maximum flash output of 800Ws, the outstanding light quality that Broncolor is known for, and battery power that can be charged while in use, it is said to enable studio-quality photography anywhere.
Features
color temperature
Stelos now features a new variable flash color temperature adjustment function, previously only available on high-end power packs. It can be adjusted from -100K to +800K depending on the output setting. Additionally, the LED modeling light can be adjusted over a wide range from 2700K to 6500K, allowing for more precise lighting that matches the shooting environment and subject.
V-mount battery compatible
It supports versatile V-mount batteries, so you can use not only genuine broncolor high-quality batteries but also compatible batteries from other manufacturers. In addition to the included 140W fast charger, it can also be charged with a standard USB-C charger, making it extremely convenient not only in the studio but also on location.
Easy to use
Operation is simple and intuitive, with two buttons, a rotary push dial and an easy-to-read, high-contrast LCD display that helps you make the most of your precious time on set. The display can be customized to suit your preferences, from “minimal” to “show everything.”
control
Stelos is fully compatible with broncolor’s RFS 2 and RFS 3 transmitters, the bronControl app, and the bronAPI . * All settings can be configured without using the app, allowing for flexible control in any environment, from studio to location shoots and integration into complex lighting systems.
*bronAPI is an API exclusively for broncolor products that allows you to control Wi-Fi-enabled equipment via the network using Python.

Tilt function
In response to many user requests, the angle can now be adjusted up to 90 degrees up and down when attached to a stand. This wider range of movement allows for precise lighting even from difficult angles.
