Aputure announced the start of sales of the full-color LED panel light “NOVA II 2×1,” a different size model called “NOVA II 1×1.” Additionally, they announced the panel light “NOVA 9° 2×1” equipped with the BLAIR engine, as well as dedicated accessories for each model.
New additions to the Aputure NOVA series
Aputure has taken the NOVA series of lights to the next generation with the introduction of the NOVAII 2×1.
The NOVAII 2×1 is a full-color LED panel equipped with BLAIR-CG, which offers high color reproducibility, a wide range of control functions, and excellent weather resistance, making it the core model of the series and suitable for a wide range of applications from studio shoots to location shoots.The new NOVA series now includes the NOVAII 1×1 and NOVA 9° 2×1.
The NOVAII 1×1 is a model that inherits the excellent features of the NOVAII 2×1 while condensing them into a compact 1×1 size, making it more maneuverable and easier to handle.
The NOVA 9° 2×1 is a high-output, two-color model equipped with a BLAIR engine, and its ultra-narrow 9° beam angle allows it to emit powerful, highly directional light even from long distances. The Aputure NOVA II 1×1 is a next-generation full-color LED panel equipped with BLAIR-CG, featuring a robust IP65-compliant body, a high output of 500W, a wide CCT range of 1,800K to 20,000K, and ± green/magenta adjustment functionality.
Despite its compact 1×1 size, it achieves high output performance, combining excellent mobility and practicality. The BLAIR-CG LED element delivers highly accurate white light, rich color reproduction, and high color rendering performance, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, from portrait photography to product photography.
Furthermore, the built-in control box simplifies setup and operation, and it supports a variety of control methods, including Sidus Link, DMX, and CRMX, making it suitable for a wide range of locations, from studios to location shoots.
NOVA 9° 2×1
The NOVA 9° 2×1 is a high-output LED panel equipped with a BLAIR engine, featuring an IP65-compliant 2×1 size body, 650W output, a wide CCT range from 1,800K to 20,000K, and ± green/magenta adjustment functionality.
Its greatest feature is its special optical design that produces an ultra-narrow 9° beam angle, allowing it to emit powerful, highly directional light even from long distances.
This product achieves the narrow-angle hard light effect that was previously achieved by combining the light body with lenses and various modifiers, but now it is possible to achieve this effect using only a compact panel.
It is effective for simulating sunlight through a window, recreating sunlight on a large-scale site, and creating hard light effects from a long distance.
In addition, the control box is built into the fixture and it is compatible with a variety of control methods, including Sidus Link, DMX, and CRMX, making it highly versatile.

The Aputure NOVA 9° 2×1 also comes with a three-lamp kit and a three-lamp yoke that allow multiple lights to be combined together to simulate sunlight and high-intensity lighting on large-scale locations. Best-in-class brightness
The Aputure NOVA II 1×1 achieves high brightness of 13,300 lux (5600K, 3m), and the NOVA 9° 2×1 achieves 66,200 lux (5600K, 3m).
The three-stage “Focus-Blend” design employs a focusing TIR lens on each individual LED element, resulting in top-class brightness. Improved LED element alignment reduces color bleeding and illuminates the subject brightly and evenly.

It is compatible with Sidus Link and Sidus Link Pro, and also supports 16-bit DMX512-A input and output, CRMX, and firmware updates via USB and DMX.
In addition to being used as a standalone key light, it also supports complex network control via a lighting console, achieving the fast and reliable communication required on modern film sets.

Aputure NOVA 9° 2×1 3-Light Kit
The NOVA 2×1 3-Light Yoke is an all-in-one package that allows you to connect three NOVA 9° 2×1 lamps vertically. By stacking the lamp heads closely together, it is possible to maintain smooth, natural shadows even at distances of more than 15m, and to reproduce a realistic sunbeam.
