Dual fisheye effect

The Laowa 4.5-10mm f/2.8 CF Zoom Fisheye redefines creative flexibility by offering two iconic fisheye perspectives within a single compact lens barrel. The 4.5mm to 10mm zoom range allows for seamless switching between different visual styles simply by turning the zoom ring, eliminating the hassle of changing lenses in the field.

The lens offers a 180° field of view at its wide-angle end of 4.5mm, creating a dramatic circular effect. This immersive perspective condenses vast scenes into a single frame, making it a tool for artistic “crystal ball” visuals, expansive astrophotography, and seamless 360° panoramas.

When zoomed to 10mm, the perspective transforms into a full-frame diagonal fisheye, capturing vast landscapes and energetic action sports with its distinctive distortion. In contrast, it’s also possible to generate de-fish (distortion-corrected) images in post-production.

By shooting with a 10mm lens and defishing it in post-production, you can obtain a wider field of view than with a standard 10mm wide-angle prime lens.
