Blackmagic Design announced the Blackmagic Camera 10.2.2 update, which is available for free download from their website.
This update adds phase-detection autofocus support to the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K, making it easier to focus on moving subjects, and also adds options for continuous AF, subject tracking, and face tracking modes.

This update also adds support for Blackmagic Cloud streaming routing. This allows you to use Blackmagic Cloud to route live streams from your cameras directly to your studio or stream them simultaneously to multiple platforms.
Furthermore, the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K now supports a pre-roll function that allows up to 10 minutes of footage to be recorded before the record button is pressed.
The pre-roll function allows the camera to continuously record to the media card, minimizing the chance of missing footage even in the event of unexpected events. The pre-roll length can be selected from 5 seconds to 10 minutes, and cached media is added to the beginning of each file being recorded.
In short, it’s suitable for filming in unpredictable and rapidly changing environments, such as documentaries, news broadcasts, and live events, because it can capture crucial moments. Storage usage is also reduced by saving only the necessary information, as only the section immediately preceding the record button is saved, even when recording continuously.
It also now supports 4-channel audio recording. The ability to record two additional audio channels makes it suitable for interviews, live events, and documentaries where separate microphones are needed for performers, ambient sounds, and scratch tracks. All audio channels are recorded in sync with the video file.
