DJI began selling a new “Pearl White” color of its dual-camera pocket gimbal camera, the Osmo Pocket 4P, in Japan from 9 PM on October 20, 2026. Only the standard combo will be released initially. The release date for the Pearl White Vlog combo is yet to be determined.
Osmo Pocket 4P Pearl White Now Available
The popular Osmo Pocket 4P released now in a pearl white color option. The Pearl White model features the same shooting capabilities as the existing Classic Black model. It is equipped with a 20mm wide-angle camera (35mm equivalent) and a 60mm medium telephoto camera, and the wide-angle camera supports a 1-inch CMOS sensor, up to 17 stops of dynamic range, and 10-bit D-Log 2 color profile.

The pearl white exterior features pearl pigments containing mica and a multi-layer spray coating technology. The finish changes its soft luster depending on how the light hits it and the viewing angle. With its understated appearance and the unique texture of pearl white, it is a design that harmonizes with various scenes, such as everyday photography and vlogging while traveling.

Wide range of visual expression with dual cameras
The Osmo Pocket 4P employs a dual-camera system with two cameras of different focal lengths positioned vertically. This minimizes compositional shifts due to parallax when switching between cameras, allowing users to switch between wide-angle and medium telephoto angles depending on the shooting scene.
The wide-angle camera features a 20mm equivalent 35mm lens with an aperture of f/2.0 and a newly developed 1-inch CMOS sensor. LOFIC technology enables a dynamic range of up to 17 stops when shooting in 10-bit D-Log 2. This allows for rich recording of highlights and shadows even in scenes with large differences in brightness, such as sunsets or backlit portraits.

Video Recording
The wide-angle camera supports video recording at up to 4K/240fps. The 10-bit D-Log 2 color profile handles over one billion colors of color information, preserving tonal gradations from bright to dark areas, thus increasing the flexibility of color grading. Note that 10-bit D-Log 2 is only supported at 1x zoom.
Meanwhile, the medium telephoto camera features a 60mm equivalent 35mm lens with an aperture of f/1.8 and a 1/1.28-inch CMOS sensor. It has a depth of field equivalent to approximately f/6.3 on a full-frame camera, making it suitable for portrait photography that utilizes background blur. For video recording, it is capable of slow-motion shooting at up to 4K/200fps.

Switch between a 20mm wide-angle camera and a 60mm medium telephoto camera, making a 3x optical difference in field of view. Combined with digital zoom, it supports up to 12x zoom for video recording. You can switch to 6x zoom by pressing the zoom button twice, and subject tracking with ActiveTrack 8.0 is available even at the maximum 12x zoom, making it useful for shooting moving subjects at a distance, such as at sports events and athletic meets.
Furthermore, the dual cameras are combined with a 3-axis mechanical gimbal for image stabilization, supporting smooth camera work. The body weighs approximately 230g, balancing portability with a variety of shooting functions.

A variety of functions that expand the possibilities of video production.
In addition to shooting videos and still images, the Osmo Pocket 4P is equipped with various functions that support the workflow from shooting to editing, including subject tracking, high-speed data transfer, and smartphone connectivity.
Functions
- 4K Slow Motion: Wide-angle camera supports slow-motion shooting at up to 4K/240fps, and the medium telephoto camera supports up to 4K/200fps. This allows for slow-motion effects up to 8x faster, enabling you to record moving subjects in detail.
- High-resolution still images: Supports still image capture up to 37MP. This can also be used for cropping and composition adjustments after shooting.
- 4K Live Photo: Automatically records 1.5 seconds of video before and after a still image is taken, for a total of approximately 3 seconds. This allows you to capture the movement and scenery of that moment along with the still image. The maximum resolution is 4K at 16:9 aspect ratio and 3K at 9:16 aspect ratio.
- Intelligent Tracking: ActiveTrack 8.0 automatically tracks subjects such as people, vehicles, and pets. It helps keep subjects in the frame even when zooming up to 12x.
- High-speed file transfer: Supports USB 3.1, enabling wired transfers of up to 800MB/s from the built-in storage. Using a compatible cable streamlines the process of transferring large amounts of captured data to a PC or other device. Transfer speed may vary depending on the usage environment.
- Long shooting time and fast charging: The maximum operating time on a full charge is 210 minutes. When using a compatible charger, the battery can be charged from 0% to 80% in approximately 18 minutes. All measurements are based on conditions specified by the manufacturer.
- Transfer to iOS: The DJI Mimo app features automatic transfer of photos and videos to your iPhone.
- 10-bit HDR video recording: Supports HDR video recording, allowing for a wide range of tonal gradations from highlights to shadows. Playback on an HDR-compatible display allows for a richer view of the image’s brightness, contrast, and colors.
