The FXLION FX-VS40 V-mount hot swap plate has been unveiled. This is a swapping plate which allows you to replace batteries without turning off the power to your video camera or lights, et cetera.
FXLION FX-VS40 Product Features
A V-mount hot swap plate comes with a built-in V-mount battery. This can be attached directly to a device such as a video camera and the battery can be mounted on the plate. Additionally, it allows you to change the battery without turning off the device. It features a full metal shell and a compact form.
The built-in battery supports high-rate discharge with a maximum current of 20A and a maximum output of 200W. When the voltage of the mounted battery drops below 11.7V, it automatically switches to the built-in battery.
There is an OLED screen on the side that displays the voltage when the battery is mounted. If the battery is removed or the voltage drops below 11.7V, a countdown will appear (up to 120 seconds if the internal battery is fully charged). Additionally, the side display will flash if the mounted battery voltage is below 13.7V.
The built-in battery can be charged from a mounted battery or via USB Type-C (PD). When charging via Type-C, an indicator appears on the side display.
In addition to the main connection via V-mount, it offers a variety of connection options with three Type-C systems (one input/output, two outputs) and two D-Tap outputs. It also supports connection to camera cages and rods. It supports various shooting scenes with various fixing methods.
