The 7Artisans 10mm F2.8 II Fish-eye ED is a manual focus prime lens compatible with full-frame sensors. It boasts an ultra-wide angle of 185° and a bright aperture of F2.8, and was awarded the Lens Category of the prestigious TIPA World Awards 2025 in the photography and video industry. It is a fisheye lens that is useful for nighttime starry sky photography and unique street photography, thanks to its dynamic depiction that makes the most of the spaciousness of the space, close-up shooting performance with a minimum shooting distance of 15cm, and phosphorescent paint that enhances visibility in dark places.
Main Features
The 10mm ultra-wide-angle lens provides an overwhelming 185° angle of view. It captures the subject dynamically and creates a sense of perspective that cannot be expressed with a normal lens. With a minimum shooting distance of 15cm, it is also recommended for creating impressive works by getting close to the subject.
The brightness of F2.8 aperture captures light even in low-light environments such as night scenes and indoors, and depicts the details of the subject brightly and clearly. It reduces camera shake and subject blur and suppresses noise generation. It achieves high image quality even in dark places.
The lens configuration of 11 elements in 8 groups, including one aspherical lens and two ED lenses, effectively corrects various aberrations, providing high resolution, sharp expression, and delicate, clear image quality.
Equipped with stepless aperture and focus rings. Smooth operation is possible, and it is said to be useful for video shooting. The index of the lens barrel is coated with phosphorescent paint, making it easy to operate even in dark places, and it can be used safely even at night or in dimly lit environments. It uses a metal barrel that combines high quality texture and robustness.
