Sony’s AlphaUniverse announced a presentation to be held on March 29th, which will potentially launch the long-rumored Sony ZV-E1  Vlogging camera. Sony has a long and enduring reputation as being the go-to camera for influencers, vloggers, and YouTubers, so this announcement is coming with great excitement and suspense.

The fansite “Sony Rumors” is speculating that this camera will have some of the following specifications, which, based off previous vlogger-focused cameras, should not be too surprising.

  • Based on α7S III body
  • The same 12-megapixel sensor as the α7S III
  • 4K 60p & 4K 120p (no crop)
  • 4K 120p supported by a firmware update in future
  • ISO 409000
  • Same AF as the A7IV
  • AF of α7R V, but even better detection power

The price of this new camera is expected to be $2000-2500 (US Dollars).

The announcement video posted by Sony Alpha themselves is below, and will go live on March 29th.
