7Artisans unveiled a new wide-angle interchangeable lens, the “9mm F5.6 ASPH” and the dedicated “ND64 / ND1000 34mm” rear filter.
7Artisans 9mm F5.6 ASPH
The 7Artisans 9mm F5.6 ASPH is a manual focus prime lens compatible with full-frame sensors. With an ultra-wide angle of up to 132°, it is ideal for photographing landscapes and architecture. With high image quality and reduced distortion, it depicts subjects dynamically and clearly, from majestic natural landscapes to intricate architecture.

The 9mm ultra-wide-angle lens achieves an overwhelming viewing angle of up to 132°. Despite the extremely wide angle of view, distortion is effectively suppressed, allowing you to dynamically depict a variety of subjects, from seaside and mountain landscapes to historical and modern architecture, with natural balance.

The 5-blade aperture creates 10 beautiful rays of light from a point light source. It creates a fantastic effect on backlit landscapes, night scenes, and illuminations, allowing for impressive photographic expression. In addition, the lens configuration of 16 elements in 11 groups, including two aspherical lenses, two ED lenses, and three high-refractive lenses, effectively corrects chromatic aberration and distortion. Despite being an ultra-wide angle, it achieves clear and detailed depiction all over the edges.

The wide-angle lens, which allows you to get as close as 20cm to the subject, allows you to create a powerful sense of perspective and a sense of realism. You can freely compose your shots even in small indoor spaces or on a table, and achieve impressive images that naturally capture the subject and background in a single photo.
The click-type aperture ring allows you to intuitively set the aperture value. The focus ring rotates smoothly, allowing for smooth focusing. It provides intuitive and comfortable operability.
By using a dedicated rear ND filter (sold separately), you can easily expand the variety of photographic expressions. By reducing the amount of light and slowing down the shutter speed, you can depict the movement of the subject smoothly. It is said that it is possible to create an impressive expression that adds movement to the dynamic composition that is unique to the wide-angle 9mm.

7Artisans Rear Filter ND64/ND1000 34mm

The 7Artisans Rear Filter is a ND (neutral density) rear filter for the 9mm F5.6 ASPH. It is effective in scenes where you want to express a smooth flow, such as waterfalls, streams, and cloud movement. It is also suitable for backlit photography and daytime photography that takes advantage of background blur while suppressing whiteout. The sides and top of the filter are knurled, making it easy to grip with your fingers and allowing for smooth attachment and removal.

ND64 34mm
This filter reduces the amount of incoming light to 1/64 (6 stops). It is suitable for expressing the natural movement of people and water. It is easy to use even on cloudy days or in the shade, and is recommended for those who are using ND filters for the first time.
ND1000 34mm
This filter reduces the amount of incoming light to 1/1000 (10 stops). It allows for full-scale long exposure even on a clear day, and is suitable for taking pictures that make use of special effects such as expressing the fantastic movement of water surfaces and clouds, or erasing the flow of people in city streets.
