
Roland Corporation has announced a technical alliance and collaboration with Yamaha Corporation, The collaboration will enable seamless operation between Roland’s video switcher, “V-80HD” and Yamaha’s compact digital mixing console, “DM3 Series,” supporting efficient content production and event production.
High quality audio and video are both important for live streaming and event video production. Roland’s V-80HD is a compact video switcher that can be carried to professional event sites for easy high quality video production and audio adjustment, and is equipped with a full range of functions for professional video production, supporting a wide range of device connections and video formats.

Roland V-80HDYamaha’s DM3 series supports a maximum sampling rate of 96kHz, is equipped with two systems with 18 high-quality effects, supports quick setup with a wide range of presets, and has a 9-inch touch screen for simple, intuitive operation, all packed into a lightweight, compact body with outstanding performance.

The Roland and Yamaha collaboration makes it possible to recall scene memories that store the mixing settings of the DM3 series from the V-80HD, and to operate the fader level and mute buttons of the V-80HD audio mixer from the DM3 series. By combining these functions, high-quality audio and video operations are integrated into a compact system, making it easy for even a single operator to control the production of events and broadcasts.

Functionality integration between the V-80HD and the DM3 series will be available by updating to the latest V-80HD firmware, released on June 5th.
The product will also be exhibited at InfoComm 2025, one of the world’s largest professional AV equipment trade shows, to be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, from June 11th to 13th, 2025.
