
Adobe released the Android version of Photoshop beta for free on Google Play. Adobe Photoshop mobile is designed to be intuitive and easy to use for creators who prefer to work on their smartphones.
The new Android app features Adobe Photoshop’s iconic image editing and design features, including layers, masks and popular tools like Generative Fill powered by Adobe Firefly. With Adobe Photoshop on mobile, it’s easy to create whenever inspiration strikes, whether you’re designing cover art, video thumbnails, vision boards or capturing ideas on the go.

The mobile apps make it faster and easier than ever for the next generation of creatives to get started with Adobe Photoshop, while also providing flexibility for experienced professionals, empowering creatives who primarily work on desktop to access their work, make fast edits and capture creative ideas wherever they are.
Photoshop for Android Features
All features will be available for free to Android users during the initial beta period, with additional features expected to be rolled out soon. Currently available features include:
- You can composite and blend images using core Adobe Photoshop tools like selections, layers, and masks.
- The intuitive Tap Select tool allows you to quickly remove or replace parts of an image.
- Use tools like the Spot Healing Brush to erase distracting areas in seconds.
- Easily add or transform elements into your visual designs using generative AI features built into Adobe Firefly, such as Generative Fill.
- Enhance your creative workflow with a growing library of free Adobe Stock assets.
- Use the Object Selection and Magic Wand tools to make precise selections.
- You can refine your images using advanced features like the Removal and Clone Stamp tools.
- Take control of layers and effects using advanced blend modes and adjustment layers.
