CP+2025 Recruiting First-Time Exhibitors with Discount Plans

CP+2025 is actively recruiting first-time exhibitors for next year! The Camera and Imaging Products Association (CIPA) will hold the world premiere camera, photo and video show, CP+2025, at Pacifico Yokohama (Yokohama City) for four days from Thursday, February 27th to Sunday, March 2nd, 2025. Prior to this, an “Exhibitor Recruitment Briefing” will be held online from 2pm to 3pm on Thursday, July 18th, 2024.

CP+ is a photography and video themed event that displays the latest models from camera manufacturers and photography peripheral equipment manufacturers, as well as exhibiting works by popular photographers and video creators, and holding various talk sessions, seminars, workshops, etc. It attracts a wide range of visitors, from the younger generation looking for photogenic photos, to families interested in photography, and seniors looking to perfect their hobby, in addition to creators and professional photographers. In recent years, it has also been attracting attention from overseas.

In 2024, 88 companies and organizations exhibited, the highest level ever, and about 50,000 people visited (30% increase from the previous year). In addition to exhibitions and seminars, there were various events that everyone could enjoy, such as a kids’ photo session that was very popular with parents and children, an event corner where children could enjoy things like Plarail, which was a hit with little train photographers, and “sweet potato gourmet” in collaboration with “Koedo Sweet Potato Park”, and it was very popular.

CP+2025 aims to quickly grasp the latest trends in cameras, which are showing signs of a global revival in the smartphone era, and social media, and to create a venue where not only creators and professional photographers, but also those who are interested but feel that it is too difficult to get into, and beginners who want to make their social media debut can have fun and casually learn trend techniques and inspiration that suit them, and to realize an event where they can discover a “potential customer base.”

In addition, discount plans will be available for companies exhibiting for the first time. Furthermore, a “trial exhibition zone” (tentative name) will be set up to allow companies who feel that exhibiting is too difficult to do so with ease. We hope that not only manufacturers of cameras and related accessories, but also companies from a variety of industries and business types that are developing new imaging worlds and services will participate.
