Inter BEE 2026 
The Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) began accepting pre-registrations for “Inter BEE 2026,” a comprehensive media event to be held at Makuhari Messe (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture) for three days from November 18th (Wed) to 20th (Fri), 2026, via its official website .
This 62nd edition of the event will capture the changes surrounding the media and entertainment industry, including advancements in AI, next-generation media production, and sustainability in the media industry, and will feature exhibitions, demonstrations, experiences, and sessions on the latest products and services.
Inter BEE 2026 Special Exhibit: capturing the evolution of media, from AI to the video and content business.
The theme of “INTER BEE IGNITION × DCEXPO” is “AI Stepping into the ‘Real World’.” It will explore the current state of media expanded by AI and the possibilities that lie ahead from multiple perspectives.
In the video field, “INTER BEE CREATIVE” will feature product and service exhibits and sessions, while “INTER BEE CINEMA” will showcase the latest trends in products supporting film production and production sites. “INTER BEE MEDIA Biz” will cover the evolution of the broadcasting business, as well as trends in a wide range of media industries, including film and animation.
Demonstrate next-generation broadcast production and experience the latest audio technology.
In the broadcast production field, the Media over IP Consortium will be hosting “INTER BEE MoIP” to verify next-generation production environments from three perspectives: “equipment connection verification,” “broadcaster perspective,” and “vendor perspective.” A demonstration is also planned in which broadcasters will actually perform production remotely from the venue.
In the field of audio, a special experience session focusing on point source/stand/line array speakers will be held at the “INTER BEE EXPERIENCE X-Speaker” in the international conference hall, in a live studio-class space. In addition, at the “INTER BEE EXPERIENCE X-Headphone/X-Microphone” in the exhibition hall, a special demonstration of WMAS (Wireless Multichannel Audio Systems) will be held as “X-WMAS” in conjunction with the audio section’s keynote speech.
Discussing sustainability in the media industry
The “INTER BEE FORUM” will feature opening and keynote speeches, keynote speeches for various special programs, and special lectures by speakers from overseas. These will include reports on global media technology trends and discussions on sustainability initiatives in the media industry.
The “INTER BEE AWARD” for Inter BEE 2026
The “INTER BEE AWARD,” which recognizes products and services that contribute to the evolution of media technology and market revitalization, will be held again this year. For this third edition, the award will be judged on the submitted products and services exhibited at the venue, with the final judging taking place on Wednesday, November 18th at the exhibition hall. The winning products and services will be announced and awarded that evening.
