Inter BEE 2026

Panasonic Connect Group (hereinafter: Panasonic Connect) will be exhibiting at “Inter BEE 2026,” a comprehensive media event to be held at Makuhari Messe from Wednesday, November 18th to Friday, November 20th, 2026.
In 2026, under the concept of “Coloring the future with possibilities expanding from the field,” we will propose solutions that enable anyone, anywhere, to connect flexibly and realize workflows that are not constrained by people or the environment. In addition, we plan to have user presentations by broadcasting stations on their remote production initiatives utilizing Panasonic Connect solutions.
Panasonic at Inter BEE 2026 Overview
The broadcasting industry is required to adapt to diverse platforms such as streaming and social media in addition to television broadcasting. At the same time, ensuring business sustainability in light of changes in advertising and revenue structures, and producing high-quality content within limited personnel and budgets are also important challenges. Furthermore, in the production and transmission environment, there is a need to update equipment, improve operational efficiency, and build flexible systems, as well as to balance stable broadcasting with diverse visual expression. At Inter BEE 2026, we will propose solutions that will support the future of broadcasting and distribution by reducing the burden on production sites and expanding the possibilities of visual expression.
Highlights of the Panasonic at Inter BEE 2026 Exhibit
1. Main Stage: “AI x Smart Broadcasting – Proposals for Optimizing Operations at Broadcast Sites”
Traditional live broadcast production required a large number of staff and equipment at both the location and the broadcasting station, as video and audio footage shot on-site were transmitted to the station for video switching and audio adjustments. This stage will feature a demonstration of “AI x Smart Live Broadcasting,” showcasing AI-powered program production support and live broadcast production using tablets and smartphones for remote operation. By optimizing personnel allocation and equipment configuration, a new workflow will be introduced that achieves both broadcast quality maintenance and reduced manpower and operational efficiency in live broadcast production.
2. High-quality program production and operational efficiency using AI
This presentation introduces solutions that support the streamlining of on-site operations through the use of AI, contributing to improved broadcast quality.
- The Media Production Suite plugin “Video Mixer” uses AI to accurately and in real time determine the boundary between the “subject” and “background” captured by a remote camera.
- This enables flexible, high-quality chroma key-less video production without the need for a dedicated green screen, camera, or lighting.
- The AI-powered ad review support service analyzes the video and audio of ad materials, automatically extracting and reporting risks of violations of various laws and guidelines, as well as areas requiring factual verification.
- By automating the initial check and standardizing review points, it contributes to reducing the workload of reviewers and improving the reliability and quality of broadcast content.
3. Exhibition of the latest product lineup supporting high-quality video production and delivery.
At Inter BEE 2026, Panasonic plans on exhibiting a wide range of cameras, including remote cameras, studio cameras, and LUMIX, as well as live switcher solutions, showcasing our latest product lineup to meet diverse video production needs.
- The AW-UE200 (scheduled for release in February 2027) and AW-UER200 (scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2027) remote cameras will be on display.
- The AW-UE200 is the first remote camera (*) to feature a global shutter 5KMOS sensor.
- Delivers realistic, distortion-free images even in fast-moving scenes such as sports and events, and will also support high-quality video production with reduced flicker in virtual productions using LED walls and stage environments with extensive lighting effects.
- A mock-up of the AW-UER200, which features a roll mechanism, will also be on display.
- Media Production Suite “Image Adjust Pro (AW-SF600)” (October 2026 Update)
- This update for “Image Adjust Pro (AW-SF600)” automates the color matching of multiple cameras.
- Automatically adjust the color tone of multiple cameras to match the image from a reference camera, the amount of adjustment work such as color correction that was previously required is greatly reduced.
- Since color matching using a color chart can be performed in a short time, easily operational even without specialized knowledge.
- The “Kairos Core 210 (AT-KC210T)” (scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2026) will be on display.
- The “Kairos Core 210” is the third-generation mid-range mainframe of the “IT/IP platform KAIROS”.
- Features enhanced basic performance such as video processing capabilities and a new design that allows for flexible configuration of SDI, HDMI, and IP input/output boards in all five slots.
- Furthermore, this exhibition will be displaying the next stage of the KAIROS, which meets the diverse needs of live video production by enhancing IP operation performance, including JPEG XS support.
- Lighting Corner (Lighting Console) (Reference Exhibit):
- The introduction of a lighting console (co-produced with Asahi Broadcasting Television) that supports the international standards GDTF (General Device Type Format: .gdtf file) and MVR (My Virtual Rig: .mvr file).
- By supporting international standards that were not supported by conventional domestic lighting consoles, seamless data linkage between domestic lighting consoles, overseas lighting consoles, CAD, and 3D simulations will be achieved.
Remote Production User Presentations
Panssonic will hold user presentations focusing on KAIROS’s application examples. Broadcasting companies will share their experiences, including demonstration experiments of remote production, efficiency improvements in sports broadcasting, and applications in live terrestrial broadcasting, conveying new possibilities and effects in program production.
