MRMC announced the “CINEBOT MINI,” a compact motion control robot for live-action filming. The CINEBOT MINI is a compact system designed for ease of use and portability. It provides full manual control over the camera position, simplifying the shooting situation on set, location and in the studio for professional-level motion control work.
The MRMC CINEBOT MINI can be used on a track or on a pedestal and uses regular grip devices to integrate motion controls with the types of controls used on everyday sets. The cinematographer can hand-hold the camera in various positions, which are recorded by a robotic arm. They can also push the truck like a standard dolly and record the movement and play it back.
All the information recorded in Flair can be used for flexible control options, from direct hand-held operation to simple control using a mobile device.
