Accsoon announced “iPad PowerCage Mini” for iPad Mini 6. The iPad PowerCage Mini is an accessory that transforms the iPad Mini 6 into the perfect monitor for professional productions.
The iPad Mini 6 features an 8.3-inch Retina screen, 2266 x 1488 resolution, and wide P3 color gamut. The 326 pixels per inch resolution provides sharper, clearer images than other dedicated professional monitors. When equipped with the dedicated iPad PowerCage Mini, the iPad mini 6 becomes a full-fledged production tool that can be used for multiple purposes.
Attaching the Accsoon SeeMo HDMI or SeeMo Pro SDI to the back creates a lightweight and reliable on-camera monitor. It also becomes a lightweight handheld director monitor when combined with Accsoon’s CineView series of wireless transmitters.
The iPad PowerCage mini is made of aviation-grade aluminum and protects the iPad Mini 6. The sides of the cage feature multiple cold shoes and 1/4-20 anti-rotation attachment points to connect to stands and securely attach accessories. It comes with a custom TPU gel case insert to provide soft cushioning when the iPad takes an impact. It also includes a lug for attaching a neck strap for the director’s monitor.
The iPad mini 6 weighs just 293g and the iPad PowerCage Mini weighs 162g, offering a larger screen while being lighter than many 7-inch monitors. It’s especially useful when mounted on top of a small handheld camera or used as a director’s monitor. The iPad weight makes it easier to balance camera rigs and shoot handheld for long periods of time. Sun hood included
The cage comes with its own foldable sun hood. The lightweight and sturdy accessory effectively blocks stray light and improves visibility in various shooting conditions. Clever tab design allows for quick folding and unfolding. Additionally, the sun hood can be easily stored in the power cage.
Power supply that lasts all day
One of the features of the iPad PowerCage Mini is its ability to power the iPad Mini 6. By using the included battery adapter plate ACC04, the iPad mini 6 can secure power even during long shooting sessions. By using the USB-C PD and NP-F type batteries provided by ACC04, it can power the iPad Mini 6 but also use the ACC04’s USB output to charge other included accessories. With an adapter, .
ACC04 can also be used alone to charge NP-F type batteries. Simply connect a USB-C PD charger like the one used in the iPad Mini 6 to the ACC04’s USB-C input to charge the battery and display charging status.
