The camera weighs in at approximately 346g (body only, battery pack, and memory card included). Even photographers using an interchangeable-lens camera for the first time or those who want to step up from smartphone photography can enjoy professional photography easily and easily.
Panasonic Lumix G100D Kits
There are three types of lens kits to choose from: the “K kit” that comes with a standard zoom lens, the “V kit” that comes with a standard zoom lens/tripod grip, and the “W kit” that comes with a standard zoom lens/telephoto zoom lens.
In response to requests from the previous model (DC-G100), Panasonic prepared a “W kit” that comes with a telephoto zoom lens in addition to the standard zoom lens. The included standard zoom lens and telephoto zoom lens are easy to use for group photos of large groups, scenery from a distance, and children’s events, and cover a wide range of focal lengths from wide-angle to telephoto.
It also supports convenient USB Type-C. Users can charge it from a mobile battery when on the field or between shoots.
Basic performance
The Panasonic Lumix G100D comes with a high-resolution 20.3-megapixel LiveMOS sensor and Venus Engine. These engines achieve faithful color reproduction. The camera is also equipped with features such as face/eye recognition autofocus for comfortable shooting of selfies and portraits, and a focus select function that allows photographers to select the focus point after shooting. In addition, visibility has been improved with the installation of an approximately 2.36 million-dot OLED finder, which is equivalent to the current models DC-S5 and DC-G99D. It can also be used when taking photos outdoors in strong sunlight.
It is also equipped with extensive video performance, including 4K30p recording that allows high-quality Vlog shooting, slow & quick effects that expand the range of video expression, and a 5-axis hybrid image stabilization function that firmly suppresses camera shake when shooting handheld.
