Yamaha has announced a collaboration with Elgato. Elgato is known very well in the livestreaming world for their capture cards and streaming tools.
Currently, Elgato (parent company Corsair) and Yamaha’s Creator and Consumer Audio Division are working to develop a plug-in to link Yamaha audio interfaces, mixer products, and other related gear, with Elgato’s popular STREAM DECK control device. Elgato STREAM DECK is widely used by Twitch livestreamers and YouTubers to assist with the functions of solocasting and streaming video games. In the future, the two companies will strengthen the provision of products and services that support creators in various fields such as music and video production and live streaming.
As the first part of this collaboration, Elgato has released a plug-in for Yamaha’s game streaming audio mixer “ZG01” that can be operated on Elgato’s versatile control device STREAM DECK on Elgato’s website. Previously, it was necessary to operate many of the rich audio management and DSP effect functions installed in “ZG01” on the dedicated application “ZG Controller,” but with the combination of the latest model, the STREAM DECK+, and “ZG01” By applying this plug-in, it will be easier to adjust the volume balance of game distribution audio in real time by operating the knobs and buttons of “STREAM DECK+”.
The settings for the STREAM DECK can also be freely customized by the user. Additionally, this plug-in can be used by anyone who owns the STREAM DECK series.
We are very happy to be working with Elagto, a company that provides excellent solutions in streaming and content creation, Yoshiyuki Tsugawa, Yamaha Creator & Consumer Audio Division Manager, commented. With this plug-in compatible with “STREAM DECK” as a first step, we will work to deliver an even better experience to streamers and creators.
