It has been highly praised by users and has established a unique position.
The Fujifilm X100VI to be released this year retains the popular “hybrid viewfinder” and excellent design, but also has a back-illuminated approximately 40.2 million pixel “X-Trans CMOS 5 HR” sensor. It also has a high-speed image processing engine, the “X-Processor 5.” Furthermore, it is the first in the X100 series to be equipped with a newly developed in-body image stabilization function of up to 6.0 steps, while achieving a compact and lightweight body, weighing approximately 521g. This camera can be used for shooting in a wide range of situations.

High-performance Sensor
This machine is equipped with a back-illuminated approximately 40.2 million pixel “X-Trans CMOS 5 HR” sensor. The new sensor has an improved pixel structure that allows it to capture more light efficiently, making it possible to use ISO125 as a regular sensitivity, which was the extended sensitivity of previous models. In addition, when combined with a 23mm F2.0 lens with high resolution performance, it achieves sharp high resolution that makes full use of approximately 40.2 million pixels.
This is the first digital camera in the X series, including the X100 series, to be equipped with REALA ACE, which combines film simulation with a wide variety of color tones, faithful color reproduction, and sharp gradation expression. Just like choosing a photographic film, you can enjoy a wide variety of color expressions by switching between 20 different modes depending on the subject and scene.
The X100 series is the first to be equipped with AI-powered subject detection autofocus developed using deep learning technology. AI detects animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, trains, insects, and drones. Furthermore, it is equipped with an AF prediction algorithm that is more advanced than previous models. It is possible to photograph a wide range of subjects, such as fast-moving cars and animals.
Fujifilm X100VI Functionality
Although it is equipped with a newly developed 5-axis in-body image stabilization function with a maximum of 6.0 stops, it has a small and lightweight body weighing approximately 521g. Comfortable handheld shooting is possible even in dark shooting scenes such as night scenes.
This camera is equipped with an “Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder” that allows users to freely switch between an optical viewfinder (hereinafter referred to as OVF) and an electronic viewfinder (hereinafter referred to as EVF). Pursuing the shooting style that characterizes the X100 series, “looking through the viewfinder,” The OVF allows users to capture the subject as it really is, while the EVF allows photographers to take pictures while checking exposure and other shooting conditions. The EVF uses a high-definition organic EL panel with approximately 3.69 million dots, making it possible to enhance the sense of immersion in shooting.
Equipped with an “electronic range finder” function that can simultaneously display a small EVF on the OVF. Pursuing the possibilities of a viewfinder, such as being able to capture the subject with the OVF while magnifying the in-focus area with the small EVF. It is said to be extremely convenient for things like taking snapshots.
For the first time in the “X100 series,” 6.2K30P video recording is possible with the Fujifilm X100VI. It is also equipped with a tracking AF function during video shooting to achieve high-quality video shooting. It is also compatible with Frame.io Camera to Cloud services. Video and still image files can be directly uploaded to Frame.io, dramatically speeding up the workflow from shooting to editing.
Sophisticated product design in the Fujifilm X100VI
The aluminum molding, texture, and color used for the top and bottom of the body give it a high-quality appearance. Inheriting the design from previous models that allows the ultra-thin tilting LCD monitor to be stored fully flat. The camera is also capable of shooting in a variety of styles from high angle to low angle. It also has excellent touch response performance and intuitive operability, achieving a high level of functional beauty.
The shape of the grip part has been finely adjusted to improve the grip feeling. The buttons on the back have also been moved to a position where they can be easily operated with the right hand, allowing for more comfortable shooting while looking through the viewfinder.
