The ShortStache Mist Light/PL Filter, and the EveryDay Mist Light/PL Filter, both have been unveiled. These filters achieves the black mist and polarization effects of the PolarPro camera gear brand in one filter. The ShortStache Mist/PL Filter is now available worldwide.

The EveryDay Mist Light/PL filter is scheduled to start shipping from mid-April 2024, and the Mist/PL filter is scheduled to start shipping from early March 2024. The lineup of available thread sizes is listed below.

Black mist and polarization effect with one filter

The ShortStache Black Mist + Polarizer filter is a collaboration model with famous photographer Garrett King. A single filter achieves the “black mist effect” that diffuses the light source to create a soft, dreamy appearance while maintaining the depth of shadows/black tones, and the “polarization effect” that reduces reflections.

These filters create a delicate appearance with attention to detail in a variety of shooting situations, from film photography to commercial video shooting.

Signature matte green aluminum frame

The filter frame of the ShortStache filter is made of aluminum painted in an exquisite matte green color, giving it a unique and stylish look without compromising the beautiful appearance of your camera lens.

Deploys in two diffusion strengths

The ShortStache filter is available in two types of intensity:

• EveryDay MistLight/PL, which has a 1/4 black mist effect.
• Mist/PL, which has a stronger 1/2 black mist effect.

New chroma polarized glass and slim design with no vignetting

All-new polarization technology allows us to create polarizing filters that provide perfect color neutrality and are the perfect base for editing. The slim design achieves both polarization and black mist effects without vignetting.
