PolarPro has unveiled a specialized filter adaptor ring for the new FUJIFILMX100VI. The “PolarPro 49mm Filter Adapter for FUJIFILM X100VI” is scheduled to start shipping in early May 2024. The selling price is estimated at $45.
The PolarPro FUJIFILM X100VI 49mm Filter Adapter is installed by replacing the front ring of the X100VI, and has a threaded tip so that 49mm diameter filters can be attached.
The material is made from brass, ensuring durability while minimizing the risk of cross-threading, and allowing for smoother filter installation than the original aluminum version. Users can also add black mist or polarizing effects to the camera by using filters with 49mm diameter options, like the PolarPro Shortstache filter. It’s also designed to be compatible with the original lens caps.
The PolarPro 49mm Adapter for the X100VI comes in three colors: Black, Silver, and Raw Brass. The adapter ring is compatible with the X100VI, in addition to the previous X100V, X100, X100S, and X70 cameras.
