Sigma has announced the addition of Canon RF mount lenses to its mirrorless camera lineup, allowing users of the Canon RF mount system to enjoy high-performance, high-quality, and high-grade Sigma lenses in a native mount.
In order to add a compatible mount, a control algorithm was developed specifically for interchangeable lenses for Canon RF mount, optimizing the autofocus drive and communication speed. In addition to achieving high-speed AF, it also supports AF-C (continuous AF), in-body aberration correction, and in-body image stabilization. The mount is sealed with rubber to ensure compatibility with a variety of environments.
