Boost creativity with the power of AI with Avid Ada
For more than a decade, Avid has been accelerating creativity and improving efficiency through innovative applications of AI technology, and at NAB2024, Avid unveiled a technology roadmap of how it is accelerating new applications of AI that unleash creative intelligence through a human-in-the-loop (HITL) approach.
The demo showed how Avid Ada harnesses the power of AI technology to automate audio transcription, summarization and language translation, as well as transcription services and recommendation engines, in addition to AI-powered tools included in current Avid solutions, such as PhraseFindTM AI and ScriptSync AI in Avid Media Composer, and facial and scene recognition in Avid MediaCentral.
They also demonstrated how journalists editing in the web-based MediaCentral | Cloud UX can write a script, record narration into a timeline, and then ask the AI service to identify relevant footage that matches a selected part of the story.
Create compelling stories quickly
Avid introduced the latest features of Media Composer, with an open and efficient collaborative workflow. In the innovation demo, Avid’s SaaS-based collaboration tools, which support virtualizing editing sessions from anywhere and enabling real-time collaboration using Microsoft Teams, were shown in advance. In addition, new workflow integrations with third-party solutions such as Autodesk Flow Capture and Doom Solution, enabled by the latest Media Composer Panel SDK (software development kit), were also introduced.
